Micah Challenge Voices for Justice

Tuesday, Nov 2016 5:30 PM

This past weekend a group of our Senior students travelled to Canberra lobbying for Aid and Development at Parliament House. They have specifically been looking at the effects of climate change and how that impacts on our poorer neighbours specifically in the Asia Pacific.

The students split into two groups and met with politicians at Parliament, including Labor MP Justine Elliot, Greens Senator Lee Rhiannon's Advisor, Liberal MP Angus Taylor and Independent MP Andrew Wilkie. Students also crossed paths with Pauline Hanson in the corridors.
