Christianity, Service and Mission

Pastoral Care

Chapel Services provide an opportunity for staff and students to gather to worship God, to learn about God and to pray to God. We hold Chapel services on a weekly basis across the College.

College-based Service Projects

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ - Acts 20:35

A range of age appropriate service projects are undertaken by students to help them in their understanding of the broad range of needs in our society and to learn that they can make a positive difference for other people.

Compassion

Students and staff at the College actively support the Compassion Child Sponsorship program as well as their Leadership Development Program. Through Compassion’s programs, children are supported through every stage of life, and are equipped to bring lasting change to their families and communities.

Overseas Mission Opportunities

An annual overseas service trip is conducted for students from Senior School and staff. The College has partnered with Tabitha Foundation and the Sunshine Centre for Children in Cambodia as well as Crossroads International in Hong Kong.

Students participating in these trips are involved in active service programs where they are able to make a lasting difference in the lives of impoverished people across the world.
