The Enrolment Process
Rouse Hill Anglican College warmly welcomes enquiries and applications from families wishing to enrol their children in any year group from Pre-K to Year 12. Families from a range of religious and cultural backgrounds are a valued part of the College community.
Rouse Hill Anglican College accepts most of our new students in the following year groups:
- Pre-K (turning 4 years old before 30 April in the year they start)
- Kindergarten
- Year 7
From time to time, a limited number of places become available in other year groups each year. Waiting lists in other year groups are usually shorter than for Pre-K, Kindergarten and Year 7.
Students who enrol in a Pre-K program have guaranteed entry into Kindergarten. Students who are already a part of our Junior School in Year 6 are guaranteed entry into Year 7.
Because the College receives many more applications than positions available for Year 7 each year, parents are strongly advised to apply for their children to enrol in our Junior School (Pre-K to Year 6).
Timeframes
Parents who would prefer to wait and enrol their child in Pre-K, Kindergarten and Year 7 are strongly advised to apply at least 2 years in advance. The College will start assessing Year 7 applications, including offering enrolment interviews, at least 18 months in advance. Pre-K and Kindergarten applications will be considered approximately 12 months prior.
Students who are not offered a place after the academic year commences remain on the waiting list and may be contacted if a place becomes available. This applies to all year groups.
