The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss

Fostering the love

We love connecting students to books and sharing their love and joy of reading.

Senior School Library

The Senior School Library is located in D block and is open:

  • Monday and Friday - from 8:15am and recess, lunchtime and 3:40pm to 4:00pm
  • Tuesday to Thursday - from 8:15am and recess, lunchtime and 3:30pm to 4:45pm

Students are welcome to come and read, do research, complete homework, or play chess. If you need some extra time for homework, or help with researching, our Librarians are very keen to help.

The College Libraries are constantly updating the collection of books and magazines.

Our students also participate in:

  • The NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge (PRC)
  • The National Simultaneous Story time — celebrated annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book is selected by ALIA and is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres and many other places around Australia
  • Book Fair which is always very popular with students and parents during our Junior School Open Classrooms
  • Service Days where volunteers students are thrilled to help sort textbooks and novels, making the library more organised and clean
  • Study Hub for students in Years 7 to 12 which is a great place for students to find some quiet time to finish or get help with any assessments or homework
